About Sarah Mitchell-Davidson:
Sarah Mitchell-Davison’s work at Arc Ceramics embraces textural, organic forms inspired by the Catskills’ landscapes. Using coiling and slab-building techniques, she creates sculptural stoneware with hand-impressed textures, reflecting natural elements like boulders and tree bark. Driven by experimentation, Sarah explores new materials and values the artistic process, finding calm and reflection in her studio. Her vessels express a quiet joy and personal meaning, aiming to touch viewers subtly through both form and surface.
