Art of Clay: Beginner's Pottery Class

Our very own pottery journey began with an intro workshop that sparked our passion. Now we're thrilled to share that excitement with you! Join us to learn how to throw a piece on a pottery wheel, with hands-on experience in centering clay, lifting walls, and shaping.

Simply come to our studio and enjoy yourself on the wheel. We will handle the cleanup, finishing, glazing and firing of up to 2 pieces per person, making them ready for pick up or shipping approximately four weeks after the workshop.

    Workshop duration: 2 hours

    Location: our studio in Kingston NY 

    All levels welcome
    No prior experience needed* 

    The workshop includes the possibility of keeping 2 pieces that will be glazed and fired afterwards. Possibility to keep additional pieces at an extra cost of $15/piece. 

    *If you have prior experience, we will be happy to guide you and give you extra tips to improve your skills.

    Clay is a messy craft so please wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. 

    *Our custom aprons can be purchased here or at the workshop.

  • Information

    Up to 10 participants per workshop. 

    Payment is due prior to the event.

    Participants are welcome to BYOB

    No cancellation*

    *6 months valid credit if cancellation is made in writing one week prior to the workshop. Workshops can only be rescheduled once and a $10 fee will be applied for rebooking
